Sign up and fully pay early! This Wood Badge course is limited to 48 participants. Locations for course are: Camp Simpson, Bromide, Oklahoma and Camp Perkins, Wichita Falls, Texas. Dates are: Weekend #1, January 27-29, 2023 and Weekend #2, February 25-26, 2023. Attendee must attend both weekends. Fees include all food, camping insurance, program materials, and administrative costs.  Fees is not refundable after 30 days prior to start of course. 

Attendees must attend BOTH weekend's 1 and 2

Note:  The first weekend starts Friday MORNING and ends Sunday Evening. 

Medical Examination for all Wood Badge Courses--Requires your Annual Health and Medical Record, Part A, B, C to be completed within one year of the course start date.

To attend Wood Badge:

  • You must be a registered member of Boy Scouts of America. 18-years-old and older.
  • Have completed the basic training courses for your Scouting position.  Youth Protection, Position Specific Training, Intro. to Outdoor Leader Skills.
  • and be capable of functioning safely in an outdoor environment.
